Senior year: transition
It took me four years, but I finally found a place where I fit in. Economics has provided me so much. Just today, I participated in class discussion in two of my three classes, to put this in prospective, I have participated probably 5 times in my entire academic journey. I am currently in two economic development classes which have finally empowered me with the academic knowledge and tools to be proactive in take steps towards equality. Because of the classmates, professors and mentors that I have met in the department, I have decided to apply to the peace corps and continue the economic development work that so many have already started.
